The Everything Axe set

Been a while since I installed the prewired, gold pickguard Everything Axe set. I marvel at how much I love this set of pickups on my Strat.
The prewired features the typical 5 way and a hidden push/pull on the bridge tone which places the bridge JB coils in series not HB mode.
Took me a while to realize that is is such a great tone, which sounds like the mid position on a Less Paul using just the bridge pickup. And god I love that tone on a LP.
I think many that had this set were never aware of the push/pull pot on the bridge tone control which is not a coil split tap or phase thing.
I ended up modifying the set slightly as the volume control was just too close to the bridge for me, so I lowered it down some. I use a guitar synth as well and I need to play closer to the bridge without the volume in the way of resting my fingers below the bridge. Other than that little user mod what a set of pickups and versatile range of tones.

Outstanding one and all.
Little '59™ for Strat SL59-1
Duckbuckers™ SDBR-1
JB Jr.™ SJBJ-1

Each of these pickups manifests the best tones and versatile config I have ever gotten out of any other collection and mix/match of guitar pickups.
Not sure if the gold anodized aluminum pickguard Everything Axe set can be found but it is the most glorious tone package on a Strat ever!
I play a range of heavy Fusion with an array of gear and I cannot rave on these three models enough. Made me a Duncan pickup fan for life.
You the man, Seymour!!!

Series IS the common humbucker mode. You probably meant that the p/p puts the bucker in parallel mode (which also is a humbucker mode, by the way).
