I always wanted one of those sparkle ones. Those were a special run that Gibson did for Mars Music in the late 90's/early 2000's. At least that's what it looks like it is.

Here are my 2 customized Epiphone Explorers.
First up is my Goth model with chrome hardware, EMGs (81 & 60), Diamond Plate pickguard and a set of inlay stickers.

My Tribal Explorer that I got from my wife for our anniversary last year. I got the V earlier for my birthday as well. I gotta say something about the ebony and the black hardware and the newly installed DD's really makes me warm and fuzzy, just like my guitar tone.
