The Famn Damily

Re: The Famn Damily

Swapped out the Gibson Deluxe Tuning Pegs for a set of Vintage Schallers. These and the Gibson TP6 Fine Tuning Tailpiece were all it needed.

Re: The Famn Damily

Goodbye '88 Jackson Glow, Hello GKG Crusader Deluxe!

Gary Kramer Guitars (GKG) Crusader Deluxe...MIK from about 2010. Does not look like it was played much at all. Super clean; no fret wear, dings or scratches at all. Showed up at a local shop and has been literally hanging around for about a month. Been playing it every time I go in and have been impressed with it on every level. Great feeling neck, nice solid body with Candy Apple Red Finish, Dual Hums that sound impressive and a Floyd Rose Original.

DELUXE model is a flash back of the early ‘80s rock machines. This model features glossy finishes and non recessed Floyd Rose Original double locking tremolos. Deluxe all maple necks have strong mid range characteristics with a bit pronounced high end. Combination of light weight Alder bodies, all maple necks, Original Floyd Rose and well balanced alnico humbuckers make Deluxe perfect choice for any type of rock music.

Re: The Famn Damily

Is there a technical term for someone who wants to have relations with an inanimate object?;

Re: The Famn Damily

Ha! You just like the Candy Apple Red MetalManiac. ;)

Thanks TreyHaslip; The Warmoth Tele and the USACG Iceman are my two favorites without doubt.

Re: The Famn Damily

Sold the Ibanez ICT700 and now I'll be waiting on this to arrive...a second 2009 Gibson Les Paul Studio Raw Power.

Re: The Famn Damily

Thank you! They only made the Studio Raw Power in 2009 and I hadn't seen one in the flesh either. Always wanted one of the late 70s LP Custom Maple Boards but I never could justify a $3,000.00 purchase nor do I want to sell all my other gear to justify buying one guitar - these were an inexpensive alternative at an average of $700.00 each and I found that I like 'em!!! The Aquamarine was what really caught my eye when the Raw Power came out; that and of course the Maple Body and Fretboard on a Les Paul at decent price.

All I'm gravitating towards are Maple Fretboards anymore and the Warmoth One Piece Ash Tele, USACG One Piece Mahogany Iceman and now the Pair 'O Paul's fill the bill nicely.

Re: The Famn Damily

All your guitars look pretty cool. You have a good collection there...what's your favorite guitar?

Re: The Famn Damily

Thank you! I cycle through a lot of guitars; a few stick around but I'm always buying and selling depending on what I run across. I try to adhere to a self-imposed "one in, one out" policy to stay around 6 guitars.

Right now I've got the ones listed in my signature and a couple of acoustics so I'm at 7 after picking up the Kramer Deluxe 24. USAGC Iceman was my favorite for a long time and still is but the Warmoth Tele is just as satisfying on all levels.
