The Fender Stratocaster Club

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

I know some of you may have already seen her, but this old girl said she wanted to be in The Club too...

Cheers.........................wahwah

Man, that is the coolest guitar in the thread. Sorry to everyone else. But that trumps the lot. Especially mine.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Yeah, I have to agree that this is a fantastic guitar. I hope someday one of my guitars looks well worn like that due to hundreds of hours of my playing.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

I bet you get some "hot" tones out of that "smoking" new pedal next to the amp there!!! :D

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

The solderdrive;)
And what POS that solder is....by the way...hehe I tease my mate endlessly with that one....but I love his guitars...62 strat with a converted maplecap on the neck.
One of the most cool guitars ever soundwise...but boy you need to mean it when you play that sucker.....or you will sink fast..
And he got it dirtcheap back then as well...
P'S that green closet is full of every imaginable collectible vintage pedal out there...hehe

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

Here's my Ibanez Strat that I asked about in a separate thread lately.

Unfortunately somebody got a black car paint spraycan and "refinished it".

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

I own two and a half strats. It's a love hate relationship when dealing with string tension, string height, tremolo spring strength, and relief when you live in a 4 season's climate. Most guitars you only have to make adjustments to 4 times a year... NOT A STRAT!! OH NO!! Try EVERY STRING CHANGE!

That being said, most players do not seek consistancy as much as I do. Strats are so cool though, I just hate them. Awesome tone, tremolo, pain in the ass. Customization options are ENDLESS!! Yeah, I hate loving them.

Re: The Fender Stratocaster Club

I already posted a pic of my strat, but that was when i had a Jb Jr in it. Since i now have the stock singles in there i think that warrants a new pic. Plus i love showing it off, lol.

I joined the club again for the first time since my very first axe (squier strat) with my 2007 CIJ 57 Reissue. It's a great guitar, its got a maple board and nitro sunburst finish. It's soon to be receiving an atiquity set and some medium jumbo frets.
