Lately i've been playing my other built-by-me, the jolly roger, a lot...which is I guess also sorta almost HS.

The Polaris is either #1 or #2 right behind the Jolly Roger.

I could easily get away with that on my guitars. I almost never use the two humbuckers together. Robb Flynn from Machine Head uses that on his ESP V's.

I thought about it and came to the conclusion that i've never owned a H/S guitar. But then i suddenly realise that i do, and have owned it for over thirty years. My 1974 Telecaster Custom.

Only problem is, it has the humbucker (Fender Widerange) at the neck and a traditional Tele single-coil in the bridge, opposite of what you are seeking for this thread. S'funny, I just never thought of it as a Humbucker/Single guitar before, it's always just been 'my Tele', the only one i've ever owned.

hmmmm. dont think I have any H/s axes in the fleet right now.. Ive been drooling/oogling and dreaming of a H/S charvel model, but its way outta my price range.
