wow...for a change, i decided to go to drop D tuning.
and i suddenly realized how great the JB was for drop tunings. ive heard that the JB handles low tuning pretty well..i guess it was right
the low E had chunk, fat bottom end, and clarity. very tight sounding too. (for me it was) what more could you ask?? :laugh2:
i played it through a guitar shop's Marshall valvestate100R. i also played it through my little practice amp. :smack: but hell, they both sounded awesome. imagine what it would sound like if it had some real nice tube amps to be played through.

PS: what other duncan humbuckers handle down tuning very well? i don't know a lot about the other HB's so if you could post some impressions with down tunings on certain pups, i'd appreciate it
