I am so exited...

In a few hours I will witness Seymour winding pickups at the Fender 60th Anniversary Concert/Tempe Music Festival... he is going to be winding side by side with Abagail from Fender...

Later tonight, he is going to jam onstage with Jeff Beck!

Also on the bill are Eric Johnson, Arc Angels and Greg Koch... a full night of excellent guitar music.

I will try and snap some photos...

I'm envious, were I not fourteen, and if I had some money (personal freedom would be a plus too :) ) I would've tried to go. Definetly need some pics of it, and have a great time!

Just got back... late night...

Beck was amazing and has a girl singer(Beth Hart?) with him that completely smokes Joss Stone and souds kinda like Janis Joplin... Eric Johnson keeps getting better every time I see him... Arc Angels were very cool as well.

I was in Fender's VIP section and Nils Lofgren sat two seats away...

I took some pictures and will download them tomorrow...

Seymour unfortunately did not play with Beck...

The linup tomorrow night includes John Mayer Trio, Vertical Horizon, Lit, Train, Gin Blossoms and a few others

Nice. Do I see JCM2000 behind Mr. Beck? I can barely make out the bold lettering to the right of the switches on the top head but the 2000's are the only ones that are big and bold.

Sure, there's Jeff right there jamming. I should be commenting on that, right? But in typical guitar nut fashion what do I do? Look right at the amps being used....:laugh2:

Awesome pics, all I've heard from Jeff Beck is great and he's probably even better live. Plus I love the color Strat he uses, it made Surf Green my favorite Strat color :D

I also wonder what amps Jeff is using...I see the Marshall cabs but can't see the head.

I believe they are the JCM 200 heads...

His main Strat was a Vintage Yellow/Cream color...

Those are JCM 2000 DSL heads...Jeff has 2 of them (he uses one and one is a backup). He's been using the for a long time now and infact the 2 he has are both 50 watt prototypes.

That's just scary that I picked them out with the faceplate being blurry and dark. Not to mention I barely got any sleep last night due to being up with a sick child.

I would have loved to have seen that show.

Wow Beth hart sang with Jeff Beck, She is an awesome singer!
