The Roland Cube 60 makes a surprisingly good acoustic amp

I forgot my DI box at practice the other day, so I used my Cube to run my acoustic rather than running straight to the board (my pickup tends not to like that). It actually sounded really good on the clean channel. I'm pretty sure I'm going to give it a try at our gig this afternoon. Maybe I don't need to buy an acoustic amp after all!

I recently bought a Cube 120 XL Bass amp that works great with an acoustic guitar in the clean/full range channel. Real impressed with what can be done with my electric's running through a Boss ME-70 into that channel too. It won't replace my tube amps but I plan to use it at a fund raiser/jam that takes place several times a year. I never know if I will be playin guitar or bass, depends on who shows up. Often end up playing both at different times through the evening. Now I can take the Cube, a bass, ME-70 and Telecaster. Got it covered.

I have used my Carvin Bass amp for acoustic for years

any big clean amp will work in a pinch
