The Seymour Duncan 35 Guitar Available NOW

Re: The Seymour Duncan 35 Guitar Available NOW

Nobody has posted a reply yet?

Well then let me be the first to say it's an absolutely beautiful guitar. I personally think the JB and Jazz set that are going into it is a nice addition. And of course 35,000 year old mammoth bone is always nice.

Would be a dream to have. Just way out of my league. I watched the clip of Frank being interviewed with the features.. Would love to hear clips of the guitar and then again with the alt pickups.

I think they just tried to authentically recreat the original as much as possible. If the Tele that Seymour modified had a string-through bridge instead of a toploader then those would be the string holes.

pardon my ignorance, but why this guitar has been reissued? it belongs to a famous guitarist?

"With the introduction of the Seymour Duncan 35 Limited Edition Guitar, Seymour W. Duncan is retiring his “baby,” the guitar affectionately known as the “TeleGib,” which has been his main instrument for nearly 40 years. While the Seymour Duncan 35 is based on Seymour’s faithful friend—with a number of improvements from Seymour Duncan resident luthier Frank Falbo and the master builders at Larrivée—there is of course an original TeleGib that came before it. In this NAMM 2011 video interview with Premier Guitar’s Jason Shadrick, Seymour tells the full story of the famous guitar he built for Jeff Beck, what JB and JM really stand for, and how it all came to be."

I dig the tummy and forearm contours. Does anyone know if Seymour's personal tele-gib has those?

Re: The Seymour Duncan 35 Guitar Available NOW

Who made it? We know Seymour didn't.. he builds great pickups, but guitars?
