In other words, design by committee.

For me, much of the fun of Soviet-era clones is trying to deduce the Western gear on which they were based - especially the synthesizers.

Yeah. I want a Polivoks and a Ritm-2 for my collection but holy **** are the Polivoks so expensive.. The cool thing about this kind of clonery, is that the Soviets knew what they were doing, but they made other things too like really crappy cars.. The Lada Niva comes to mind.. as well as their sedans.. But that's not what this thread is about

I think i leant two things here.

Professionals wear socks.

Money is always better spent on guitar lessons than pedals in the early years, even if you do own socks.
