Man them Ibanez soundtanks are awful. (cosmetically-speaking, heck they might not sound bad at all?)

The Tube Screamer is decent for sure.

I think this "damage control" won the contest ... Danelectro pedals are also not something I find attractive .


But I loved those Ibanez SoundTank Pedals of the 90´s . I had the "Classic Metal" Distortion for a while and really dug it . Sounded very "Running Wild"ish Power Metal distortion , great pedal .

I’ve owned three Soundtank CS5 chorus pedals, and they’ve all been noisy. It’s a nostalgia piece for me; I use the Boss and the Radial.

Those Ibanez Soundtank pedals sounded just like their metal counterparts. The real weakpoint was not the plastic, but the switch, which almost always failed after a year or so.

That so funny to read that, I've used a sound tank delay for like 10 years and it's always been just perfect. I've even sold off much much "better" delays to keep this plastic ugly thing cuz it sounds right.

I wonder if all those wires actually connect something or if they're just for decoration. Would suck if you disconnect and forget where they're supposed to go.
