EDIT - Woah, if your EXIF is correct, I think your wife lets you have some pretty nice toys between the guitars and cameras! :)

He. Yeah it's a TS-E 24mm Mk II. The screwups in the picture are entirely my fault. The jittery looks toward the headstock can't be blamed on the lens. I couldn't take new pics because of a conference I had to go to.

My wife is actually the one doing photography for money so there is a slightly sub-lame excuse. Of course she doesn't use the TS-E on weddings. Cough.

But the Tilt-Shift look is the new hotness! ;) (And by that I mean the new selective color... :O)

For guitar photography the 45mm TS-E is actually better, and can be had for $800 or so? Also good to make some people good where you want to manipulate perspective a bit to help the effort. Can't really do it with the 24mm. It's always impolite to use the landscaping lens on a girl :)

Last weekend I was taking photos of my wife's friends during a baby shower they were throwing for us, and the hostess (a woman of considerable bosom) almost walked in front of my lens while I was taking shot.

She joked, "Wow, you almost got an lensful there..."

I looked at the preset dial, and said "Well, it is set on landscape," and dialed it to portrait.

She said "Yeah, it would need to be," and walked past.
