Both "Weeping Willow" and "This Time" seem to have that tell-tale sound of a duck vomiting which just says Vox V847 to me. It's a beautiful thing. (Maybe not for the duck, but certainly for the rest of us!)

The Verve are back together, which makes me happy. I can't imagine making a record that good again but you never know.

for the love of the verve, im bringing this thread back one more time.

for all of you who dont know them, youtube them, but you'll only get urban hymns, or go out and buy some albums, a northern soul, storm in heaven are both equally as good as urban hymns. the band is just amazing, every single song as good as the one before and after.

the fact that they are back together was the best news i have heard all year, although im ready for anything.

seriously, go out and listen and buy some albums, you wont regret it.

There was a bit in one of the trades I read and they said the new album is sounding really good. I believe them.

that good, cant wait for the album to come out. the-verve.info says that recording starts in september, but ashcroft said that the album would be out by the end of summer, and im sure it should be finished before their lil tour in england.

The Verve, Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury were back recording together in a London studio last week.

After a summer break, they will return to the studio to complete their next album.
