The wait begins.

Re: The wait begins.

It looks like it could be a spleen buster but if it only has 2 speakers maybe it won't be so bad, if it has side handles.

Re: The wait begins.

That's a great format though. Not many builders make vertical 2x12s especially one that tall.

I'm going to love it. I will be a Hovercraft customer for life. To be able to commission a build that they don't offer through their web store and have the CEO tell you that he has just the thing is a freaking beautiful thing.

Re: The wait begins.

If I didn't already have too many amps, a Hovercraft would be the first thing I'd buy. Hell I might get one anyway... have my eye on the Falcon.

Re: The wait begins.

Oh **** son, **** just got real.

Just don't put wheels on it.

I want a 100+ watt dwarvenaut.

Re: The wait begins.

Nial's unveiling a new amp model (I think it's gonna be the Caribou) at the LA amp expo. 2x big tube power section and "highly modifiable" preamp. HONK HONK GRAB MAH BENUS

Re: The wait begins.

I want to check out the Caribou pretty badly. I also want another Dwarvenaut with the Supergroup/ubermarshall voice and a "feelth" circuit. And I want an Elder Giant.

...I want them all.

Re: The wait begins.

I want to talk to him and see if he'd build me a stereo Falcon. quad of kt88s, fendery/Sunn higain and....I wonder if he could do ultralinear? Then I'd put it in a 2x2x12 cab like a big Watkins Dominator and use it as a stereo or amp.

I'm building that cab anyway. :| gonna run the Mustang v into it when I get one.

this thing.

You must have roadies... or you're in your 20s.... :-p

Nah, I'm just used to carrying around drums, so 4x12's with no casters, big whoop. Builds muscles. When I hit 50 I'll probably build a little cart with casters to wheel them around on.

I wonder if he'd be into the Model T with SLO channel I've been dreaming about for the last 10 years.

I would imagine he's got something like that in his back pocket. I know he does the Ultimarshall voicing or the supergroup voice. SLO can't be that far off.

Re: The wait begins.

Didn't somebody say that a lot of the amps he rebuilds are Jet Citys? If so then there's a Soldano connection already.

Re: The wait begins.

First shirt for a company who's equipment I don't own that I've ever bought. I'm a fan.
