Now I guess it's my turn. lol

What's the cure for Freightliner fever?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3og4y1G19As

Lol

Are you a Mack Daddy?

What else did Peterbilt?

Keep on truckin' good buddy! My father did for 33 years.

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

did you ever wear parachute pants?

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Newking, no, he is actually my behatch! LOL!

Luis, I am too good for em!

envenimer, Freightliner fever, usually an alignment and a set of steer tires. They dont call em a "freight shaker" for nothing LOL. I hate Frieghtshaker front ends. Tap a curb somewhere and you need an alignment. Smack: Otherwise, they are a great bang for the buck truck.

Mack daddy, about the worst truck made IMO. Unless you are a dump truck driver AKA "dumbtruckdriver". LOL! Hopefully, Volvo is getting Mack straightened out these days?

What else did Peterbilt? I dunno but, his brother Ken Made Kenworths though.

Dont call me a "goodbuddy" ever again.

I am 3rd generation BTW.

Ez74, no, thank god!

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

What do you look like?

Who are your top ten favorite members of the forum?

Vai vs. EVH?

Cracker Barrell or Bob Evans?

Favorite Food?

Favorite coffee?

Favorite Comic Hero?

How many Gears does your current truck have... My girlfriends uncle drove one with 18 gears... I think it was peterbuilt.

What do I look like, pregnant powerlifter as of right now. Long Goatee, bald head shaved clean.

Top ten fav members, that aint right mang.

EVH

CB or BE.....very hard call. I havent been to BE in years but, last time I went it was righteous. Probably BE because the seats a CB hurt my A$$. You can get a booth at BE.

Fav food, I dont have a fav but, I like so many different thing depending on my mood.

I like the Hellboy movies alot. Probably that dude.

Coffee, a good cup of standard coffee from any convenience store. A few packs of teh pink stuff and a few Hazelnut creamers!

Standard 10 speed. The brand of truck does not determine what trans a truck has. You can order anything in any truck. 90%+ on the road has standard 10 speeds. Oh, I am not in an assigned truck as of now. I jump around. Some times it is a standard 10 sometimes it is a super 10 depending on the truck. Hard to explain BTW but, they just shift a whole different way from each other..

Float, DC is for chumps that want to wear a clutch and work themselves harder.

As of now, single stack, window in the back. I miss my condo.

Tandem

Turn it off, start it the next day

When I ran that way, Walmart or a grocery store.

Company

Mail Hauler

When I ran that way, plastic bottle. Now, its a post office bathroom.

I never ran officially OTR in the road gypsy sense of the word. Sometimes I was out for a few days but, I could make it home if I had to. I just choose to stay out to get an extra bit of rest at times. It was either, go home and sleep 4-5 hours or, hit the bunk for 7 kind of deal.

I have been driving for about 12 years and I have always been able to make it home everyday and make great money at it. Job market around here is really good and always has been. In most cases, if I ran OTR, I would take a pay cut compared to most of what I have done.

So how do u make your Chowder? Yeah and seriously what do u look like....

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Do you use the clutch when you shift or do that feel method thing... (I dont get it... And i hear its bad)

I rarely touch the clutch when up-shifting or down-shifting. Its called floating.

Its a mix of feel and timing. No, it is not bad. It can actually be better if done right. I have shown off and done this kind of driving on friends cars. They think it is some sort of magic. LOL!:bling:

I cant give up my chowder making secrets. Shame on you for asking. LOL!

What I look like is what I said a few posts ago. Like a power lifter with a gut, long Kerry King style goatee, and shaved bald.

When I loose the gut, I will look more like "very well built" if all goes right. Its will start mid February.

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Yeah i thought it was awesome. I highly respect you guys. Every trucker I know has been a cool guy. Da' uncle in law (future) let me ride with him without a load in the back to drop it off at the depot (or whatever its called).

Nice stuff in those trucks.

Was it you that had that Archie bunker avater or was that Jolly? For a while I got you guys mixed up.

Thanks for the respect, it is rare.

That was me with that Avatar.

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

So what is your favorite rig you've driven?

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Glass, metal, or wooden coffee tables?

Yeah DC IS for chumps AND trainers (I guess they're still chumps)

I was asking which one of them makes you want to burst a blood vessel the worst

I do hope you threw them in the trash and didn't leave 'em sitting wherever you happened to stop (trucker's tea)

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

You have 1.7 minutes to make the best cold cut sandwich imagineable. Limitless ingredients, regardless of exotic locale, are at your fingertips.

What do you make? The clock is ticking...

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Dont call me a "goodbuddy" ever again.

I guess I should have used parentheses when I said good buddy. lol

What else did Peterbilt? I dunno but, his brother Ken Made Kenworths though.

rofl

Some say Peterbilt us all. lol

What's your handle? My father's was 'Peepin Tom', 'Peeps' for short. ha ha

I respect your job bro', I couldn't be trusted with 40 tons and a gas pedal, ha, I'd be on the news with a trail of destruction from my road rage and my right turns. HA :eyecrazy:

Happy New Year! :friday:

Re: The Well #53, We dont need no stinkin Roman numerals son!

Wattage, favorite one I have driven is a Volvo. Rides like a Cadillac, solid feel, well thought out, great ergonomics, quiet. Downside, they are only available with a Cumins or a Volvo Engine these days. :smack:. If one could still get one with a Detroit Diesel.........

Ken, Roast beef, lettuce, Tomato, Red onion, Guldens mustard, provolone, whole wheat bread lightly toasted.

Jolly, iron frame with a stone top. LOL! I can take pics if you dont trust me.

threechordcharlie, its a toss up between dump truck drivers, cement drivers, and Peterbuilt drivers. All of them accelerate like grandma to the point where they are first in line at a red light and by the time they get though it, it is red again. Cement and dump trucks cant seem to exceed 45 MPH most of the time :smack: but, Peterbuilt drivers will accelerate like grandma but, pass you 20 miles later going 80 MPH. Or, they will want to drive slow til they see a slow truck is trying to pass them then they have to speed up. Oh, In addition to doing the 80 when they pass you, they have to stop at every truck stop along the way and if you hear them on the radio, they are complaining about the price of fuel but, they drive 80MPH and a 379 Pete has the aerodynamics of a brick. I swear they are all brain dead and they feel like they have to drive a large car to make up for their lack of driving skills or for that matter, general intelligence. OK, Peterbuilt drivers get on my nerves more than any of them! :smack: I am talking about the Independent or a contractor of course that drives a Pete.. Just thinking about all of this makes me angry!

Oh, Rock haulers usually drive Petes.......:smack:

envenimer, they call me "Odie"

Iron Horse, I never knew I hated the Romans? This is news to me. LOL!

No, I was 18, had to pay rent and make a living so, I figured out a way to make a decent living with a minimal investment in time and money. It worked like a charm.
