Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

how did pasadena, md get the reputation of being full of people ready to fight anyone over anything (or nothing) at any time? is it a fair reputation? any good stories to tell along that line?

Welcome to redneckville. Home of roads such as Tick and Hog Neck Roads. Welcome to the local shopping centers, filled with sex shops and pizza places. Welcome to redneckville.

We moved here a couple years ago. So its been gone for at least that long.

how old are you?
15. 16 in December. That means shiny new amp! Unlike most kids, I don't want a car for my birthday; I want an amp.

what do you do?
Breathe. Eat. Sleep. Homework. If you mean job-wise? Last summer I went to Florida to mow lawns for my uncle. If you mean right now I'm jamming along to some AC/DC.

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

Hey man! I don't listen to Metallica longer than you breath :)
Which albums do you like, which songs are your favorites and why?
What about Megadeth?

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

Seeing as your one of the younger forums members, like myself, Who are your influences and how did you start playing the six stringed wonder?

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

Where'd you get your screen name and why'd you pick it?

Does it suck having your birthday so close to Christmas?

What's your favourite band that's completely different to what you usually listen to?

What's more important in a band; a good singer or a good guitarist?

What's your favourite book?

What one thing would you change about yourself if you could?

Who, what, where, when and why?

I actually like all their stuff. Even a little off of St. Anger. I'm proud to say I'm not close-minded and am a heavy Megadeth listener as well. My favorite songs from the two (from most to least) is this:
1 - The Unforgiven III
2 - Phantom Lord
3 - Hangar 18
4 - In My Darkest Hour
5 - One

ah ok - where d'ya move from?
Glen Burnie. The Burnie. Pretty frikkin' ghetto.

Metallica got me started. My buddy Dean told me to listen to 'em. I did and was so impressed with the band I got Guitar Hero: Metallica. Eventually, when I got such ridiculous score levels, I was like "Hey dad, don't we have an acoustic lying around here somewhere?" That's right. I started because of Guitar Hero. Sue Me.

Where'd you get your screen name and why'd you pick it?
Samus-Chief. When I was like 11 and making my first email, I wanted something that described me. I play lots of Metroid (Samus Aran) and used to play Halo (Master Chief). Put 'em together. It kinda stuck with me.

Does it suck having your birthday so close to Christmas?
Double presents!!!

What's your favourite band that's completely different to what you usually listen to?
Silversun Pickups. I play alot of metal and write punk, but I really like the spacy nature of their songs... like the last few minutes of Lazy Eye. Best use of pedals ever. IMO.

What's more important in a band; a good singer or a good guitarist?
Depends on the Genre. Lighter stuff is definitely vocals. Metal is more guitar based. Megadeth would not be an awesome metal band if the genre was vocal driven. Neither would Metallica.

What's your favourite book?
Book? A tie between Stephen King's Dark Tower series and Christopher Poalini's Inheritance Series.

What one thing would you change about yourself if you could?
N/A. I'm awesome just the way I am. Why? Because I believe it. That's what counts. Changing yourself is selling yourself to me. As Tony Stark put it, that would be prostitution.

Who, what, where, when and why?
James Hetfield and me trading solos on a Metallica tour after their next album because he's my primary inspiration in anything I write or improvise.

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

Probably a Carvin V3 212 combo. Two assignable FX loops, MIDI control, 3 channels... and it sounds great to boot.

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

I started from guitar hero too, but EVH really lite the fire :P,

What would you rather have as a battle buddy,

T-rex that flights fighter jets or a 37 foot long, 15 foot tall liger named larry that has razor sharp steel claws and knows 68 languages....

T-Rex. More raw power. 68 languages doesn't help in a fight.

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

You are a cool guy:)
What is your Favorite AC/DC song?
What is your dream rig?
How many languages you can communicate in?

Re: The Well CII: Geetar Cheef

What is your favorite cereal?

If you had to drink (water excluded) and eat one thing for the rest of you life what would it be?

Where is the coolest place you've been?

If you could resurrect one musician, who would it be?

If you could have a supernatural power, what would it be?

Do you want to go to college? If so where and for what major? And also if so have you read Aceman's "tutorial" for college?

Are you a trust fund baby?

What celebrity would you marry?

What is your Favorite AC/DC song?
Thank you. My favorite AC/DC song is a tie between Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and T.N.T. Great band. They sound the same every time, but its a damn good thing that their first album was stellar! :cool2:

What is your dream rig?
An ESP custom Explorer with Blackouts that have gold metal covers. The Explorer would have a graphic of the album ...And Justice For All, because that's my favorite album of all time. It would run into a Crybaby Rack Wah, which would run into a Carvin V3. In one FX loop, which I would assign to the clean, I would have Flanger, Chorus, and a little delay. In the other, which would go to my Lead channel, I would assign delay and an EQ pedal that gives a mid boost.

How many languages you can communicate in?
Mostly just english, but I'm in Spanish IV. I like to think I could travel to Spain or Latin America.

What is your favorite cereal?
Cinnamon Toast Crunchhhhhhhhhhh!

If you had to drink (water excluded) and eat one thing for the rest of you life what would it be?
Milk. I love milk. To eat I would definately say crabcakes, because I'm from MD and not liking crabs is communism in its most raw form.

Where is the coolest place you've been?
Outer Banks. Beaches are nice there, and the waves aren't sissy waves, so I have lots of fun.

If you could resurrect one musician, who would it be?
Bon Scott. AC/DC in my opinion would be better with him. I like Brian a lot, don't get me wrong, but Bon was the man.

If you could have a supernatural power, what would it be?

Do you want to go to college? If so where and for what major? And also if so have you read Aceman's "tutorial" for college?
I am going to enroll in college next year, as it will be my senior year. I want to major in Computer Science and minor in Music at UMBC. I will probably read that pretty soon. Thanks for the heads up!

Are you a trust fund baby?
What is a trust fund baby?

What celebrity would you marry?
I haven't even considered marrying yet as I am only 15. Heck, I barely even like girls at all yet.

What brought you to the forum?
My first thread, about the wiring problem in my guitar. I thought I would be able to get away with not coming back after that but I was like "These guys are pretty cool!" So I stayed.

AJFA is my Favorite Metallica album too. Actually the only Metallica I really care about :)

Spanish is a cool language, and if you master it, Portuguese and Italian will be easy to understand and even master.
