Re: THE WELL: Episode 2 - Attack Of The Clowns

I'm not the greatest cook in the world! But I can rustle up a spaghetti bolognaise, and brown sugar porkchops, which is basically porkchops, nice big nob of butter and a sprinkling of brown sugar, cook in the oven. serve with roasted potatoes and carrots!! Proper heart attack food!!!

"Big knob of butter" was my nickname in college.

What's the most destructive thing you've ever personally, directly done? (i.e. wrecking a car)

I've fortunately never been in a major car accident, which considering the roads I have to drive on out here is a relief!

I've not really completely destroyed anything major. I have broken a couple of small electronic items in temper when I couldn't get them to work. I suppose shooting stuff would be the most destructive thing I've done. Carrying out a live firing exercise on a Combat Battle Training range, and firing at the end of the exercise until either the weapon stopped working or I ran out of ammunition!!!

Very exhilarating!!

Although I did get to 'drive' a Hawk jet trainer, the same aircraft that the RAF use in the Red Arrows!! I was granted a back-seat ride in one about 10 years ago in Cyprus. The Hawk was towing a long banner that 2 Tornado's were using for target practice. I got to fly it out to the practice area, and then back to the airfield after they'd finished. Then the pilot treated me to some aerobatics, and even allowed me to throw in around, doing loops and rolls etc! A fantastic experience.

that was exactly the answer what i was after heheheh!Great story!

Re: THE WELL: Episode 2 - Attack Of The Clowns

Would you rather be able to see sounds as colors, or hear colors as sounds?

I think I'd prefer to hear colours than see sounds, especially some of the sounds that I am capable of producing!!!!
Could you imagine how cool a Pink Floyd show would be with their music and the sound that their light show would produce?!?!?!?

Interesting -

There were experiments done on... dogs, I think (some medium-sized furry mammal, anyway) where they switched the nerves (wires?) from their eyes and their ears going into their brains - effectively switching around sight and sound.

Within a few days, the dogs' brains had successfully re-routed themselves and were processing the stimuli normally again.

So, what's your favorite color sound like?

Green is my favourite colour, and I'd like to think that it would sound like the opening chords to Shine On You Crazy Diamond!

Name one artist or one band you think the youth is missing out on, whose music material is what you'd consider as obligatory for education of us youngsters?
