The Vikings, off the coast of Labrador and New Found land, around the year 1000. The 2 best known settlements is '' Lance aux Meadows'', which still has some remnants of viking housing.

I swear on everything I have that I didn't look that up. I had to do a presentation on vikings in 12th grade, for a history class.

Excellent. That redwood tree was there when they first arrived! I am still amazed at that forest.

i wonder if The Well has grown stale. i wouldnt know as i never partook in any of them, but it seems like less people contribute these days

I think it's a combination of two things. The first one is that the novelty of it is worn off, and the second is that most ''characters'' on this forum have already had their well.

Ça va très bien aujourd'hui. Beaucoup de travail, mais une journée de plasir. Le boeuf et framage dans mon avatar fait référence à mon gloss. C'était l'idée de Scott qui trouvais que c'était drole de dire '' Phil-y's best''.

Anyways, my Well comes to an end today, so if you have any last minute questions I shouldn't be to far from my computer. After that, I have already decided who gets the Well, and he has accepted.

But I'm not telling who it is, caus it's a surprise, and it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you.
