Jeremy, we need to make an amendment to the well rules.

Here is my proposal,

The person who is hosting the weekly well, MUST post their picture! It seems like the Well is an opportunity to get to know our forum bros a bit better so, it is only logical to make them include a good picture of themselves. Let and Christian did it. It s a nice touch!

I really like that idea. It's great to put a real face to a name, not just an avatar. Rather than making it a must, though (since some may feel uncomfortable), how about making it optional but highly recommended?

I'd add a picture of myself to my well thread, but it's locked.

I think it should be a must. If you want participate as the host of the well, I think it should be mandatory. If you dont feel good about doing it, dont be a well host. That is just my view. Maybe a poll to see how the unwashed masses feel about it????

8. Follow-up questions are fine, only questions, no discussion.

I am a little torn on this. I'm not too comfortable with posting nothing (some kind of 'thanks for your explanation' or something) if the host responds elaborately on a question of mine. What about that? Should we not post some short 'thank you' thing, or is that all right with the admins?

I think the intention is to keep the thread from becoming a two-way conversation between the poster and the host. I can't imagine that posting "Thanks for your help" would be wrong. Even some short statement or two should be fine, I believe. You're in no danger of monopolizing the conversation with innocuous stuff like that.
