Where do you want to be/what do you want to be doing in 10 years?

retired;)
i just want to have my own stuff(car, home, household items), not have any debt, and be happy. i don't care if i have anything glamourous, as long as i've got good credit and i have a job that i can be glad to be doing.

Re: The Well Part LX: super rad edition

You seem to have a real interest in electronics...any thoughts of pursuing something along those lines as a career?

Any thoughts of winding your own pickups from scratch or do you prefer mod-ing existing ones?

If you could have one set of pickups to plug in to one of your existing guitars (and wire as you see fit), what would it be?

If you could have one pickup to tear apart to study, what would it be?

not really. at one point i was real interested in being an ASE certified automechanic though. i just fell out of being interested in that though.

right now all i can do is mod existing pickups, and i might make a hybrid out of some of the stuff i've got laying around soon. but if i could i'd definitely wind my own pickups, that's actually something i've been thinking alot about lately.

hmn.... well, i really like the pickups that i've got now what with all the different magnets and pickup/guitar matches i've got, but if i could...
i'd go '59n with a3 and jazzB with a8, and wire it for coil swap, series, phase, dual volume/tone with a 1meg tone pot for the neck and 500k push pulls for the other pots, and have that in my gibson.

If you could have one pickup to tear apart to study, what would it be?
a duncan custom wind, minus the wax potting of course:)

What's the plan for right now on going to school to learn economics, anatomy and all that other stuff?

Any songs/riffs/scales/whatever that you can't play that you'd really like to?

You don't seem to care much for Vegas, in general. Any other parts of the country/world you are looking to move to?

well, as soon as i get some sort of income, i'm going to try and pay as i go with online schooling. however, that's going to be somewhat impeded by the current amount of babies in the houshold:eyecrazy:

as far as stuff i want to play that i can't, i just practice as often as i can and notice improvements in my playing as time goes by in general. the kind of things i want to play in general are mostly songs that i know all the rhythm parts of but can't pull the solos off quite yet, though i usually just throw some blues in the parts i can't play:)

i don't care much for vegas, but never really thought of moving as pretty much all of my family(specifically my grandma(s), grandpa(s), uncle and fam, dad, etc) lives here and i love them very much. but things are always changing, so you never know. er, rather i don't ever know:D

Re: The Well Part LX: super rad edition

i was at my great grandparent's apartment dressed in a blue and green jogging suit(the crinkly 90s kind) and my mom was taking me home after they babysat me. i think i was almost 3:?:

the main shareholder of gibson usa:) seriously though there's a few things i've considered; chef, real estate agent, financial advisor, ... actually if i could be some sort of combination of the sort i'd be happy.

next amp and guitar? ooohhh...
my next amp is something i never really think about, though those new vox modellers seem pretty cool, maybe one of those. and next guitar? that's a hard call. i'm pretty impulsive, so i could say i'm going to get one thing and come home with something completely different. i'd like something with a maple top and mahagony body/set mahogany neck with better high fret access than a les paul. hopefully a dean caddy or washburn idol.

edit: actually i've been looking at rondo's agile guitars, and those things are frickin' smokin' for the price! i may have to go that way..... i mean, they have a friggin' checkered double neck tele and a les paul with real maple top and tonepros!

edit edit: and i changed my mind about the amp because i'm more awake and alert now, i want an egnater rebel with an avatar 2x12:)

my grandpa's homebuilt cobra that i witnessed him build when i was 9(and helped rivet in some panels:D), made of a factory five kit and fox mustang parts(http://www.factoryfive.com/):

Wow your grand dad must be one cool dude.
Your hobbies besides hanging around here and swapping magnets :)

my grandpa really is cool, he's got a bunch of cars and projects just sitting around his house(last time i counted, he had 2 old caddys, 2 pontiacs and one a 68 firebird, an 80s rx7, a 92 corvette, the cobra, a t-bucket project in his den/living room, and a big van).
as far as hobbies...
playing guitar(duh:)) talking about music with people(especially people older than me, they've got some cool stories usually) the occasional origami creation.. yea that's about it for now.

Re: The Well Part LX: super rad edition

It's cool that you seem so close to your family and that you are so dedicated to helping contribute as much as you seem to.

You seem to find yourself in a pickle. You want to go to school, but need money to get started. You don't have the money to get started because you don't have a job. You've said in the past that you don't have a job because you don't have a car. (The lack of car is, presumably, due to the lack of income as well.) Which piece of the cycle do you expect to fall in to place first?

(I ask because most of us older (than you) folks have found ourselves in a similar type of situation when we were younger. I always find it interesting to find out how people made that step to get to where they are.)

Any potential future ex-Mrs. Super Rad Ska's in the picture?

They say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Is that more or less true if you already live there?

well, my mom currently says that she'll start driving me to work, if i work somewhere else other than the wynn where she and my stepdad are currently employed, but if i go to work there i'll just have to find a position that matches up time wise with my stepdad's and he can just carpool me.
