Re: The Well - Part XXV: LSP unleashes the fury (and the furries) by poisoning the We

Hmmm...

Your answer about your perfect tone brings raises next questions - how did you get your gloss? and do you feel it still fits you?
This one time... at band camp...

I was trying to plug in my acoustic to my amp. Don't ask.

All of a sudden I get this really loud buzz. Imagine a really scratchy, yet bassy, buzz saw. That's the sound.

I figured, bad battery, eq on the max, distortion of full... nope. nothing. Maybe it was the cable. Nope.

Long story short. As I said, my amp is cheap, I can run it with one of those multi-tipped cables you buy for radios and the like. One of the prongs was attracted to the speaker and when the sound made the speaker vibrate so did the metal clip.

I described this in a thread and claimed I had discovered the unholy metal distortion and I was not only it's father but it's grandfather. Robert S. IIRC was kind enough to gloss me :)

Speaking of abilities... do you use your powers for good, or evil?
For great pimpin. As all pimpin, for good.

are you a huge follower of epic fail guy if so why

I actually never really heard of that, Guy Fawks is there for Anonymous, after some snooping... it's filled with win.

I used to like Batman but then I realised he's quite meh-ish and I really only liked him because he was one of the few heroes I actually knew anything about. I'm more of a Marvel man, nowadays, Wolverine for the win.

Do you mean they actually have to be castrated if the drink the stuff Oõ?

Don't really know why I'd want a cat to drink, in the first place...

Why no more wookie pr0n? :(
It'll come back. It was replaced when Anonymous came out but nothing seemed to come out of it so I'm gonna change it soon.

Hey Luis!
Hey :)
Most embarrasing or awkward moment(s)?
Geez, which one to pick without being embarrassed a second time...

My mom used to be pretty adamant that I kissed everyone I met (people I knew of course). This is pretty common for small kids but that doesn't mean we like it.

Well, one of my uncles spent a lot of time at my shop when I was a kid and whenever I left home she'd remind me to kiss him.

One day I get there and my dad's old boss was there where my uncle used to sit. Guess what I did?

I turned all shades of red, apologized and explained. He just laughed :smack:
Favourite main course meal?
Pizza or mashed potatoes and roasted pork. That or anything I cook up.
Favourite dessert?
My mom's caramel cake.
What games are you GASing for?
Nothing at this point really. Don't have the time to play anything. Can't really wait for summer, I'm buying something violent that will run on my machine. Maybe FEAR 2 if it's out by then.

Xbox 360 v PS3?
This.
NES1.jpg

I learned my lesson when I bought my Genesis. A couple of weeks later the Saturn came out and the games started to go away to make room for the next gen games. I'm not gonna be fooled ever again. You either pay a big price to get it at launch and you can play for some time (if the system doesn't suffer from problems) or you can wait for a bit, get a better system with no bugs and a few more accessories that will last you months... Nope, not for me.

I actually still play my NES and my Genesis consoles. The real ones, I'm not even talking about emulating a lot of systems and games that were never even introduced here.

When are you most relaxed?
Two situations:

When I'm just hanging out with some girl. Doesn't need to be a gf or anything, just going out for the sake of it.

When I'm playing guitar and there is no one at home. I can mess up, repeat, practice without being told I'm always playing the same thing... I really like grabbing my acoustic, going to my terrace, sit on the wall and play.

Barring soccer, what is your favourite sport?
Basket. The only sport I actually enjoy watching (even if I have no favorite team, I'll watch any game with any team... ok, I'll root for the Bulls if they are playing lol). I also loved playing it.

Blondes or brunettes?
Out of the two? Brunettes. If I had a choice? Redheads. Real ones, through and through. :D

Re: The Well - Part XXV: LSP unleashes the fury (and the furries) by poisoning the We

Since this is essentially the slowest Well ever I'm gonna share with you something that happened a long time ago.

Me and my dad used to go out every Sunday. It was fun. We'd go out on his old bike (we didn't have a car back then), a miniature Forvel VIP (it's like a Honda Mini Trail) and hang out with his Boy Scout Friends (he was one of the older guys, forgot what they call them, veterans?) or just drive. That was when there wasn't any work that could be done in the shop (my dad is a carpenter and house painter, when one job is on the low he turns to the other). When it was winter or something like that there would be a lot more carpentry jobs but I'd go with him and just hang out at the shop messing around with something as there was always something new and interesting.

Well, one Sunday he tells me we weren't eating lunch at home. I don't remember what my mom was doing that day but she didn't come with us, I think she didn't want to come, you'll know why later on.

He tells me we are going to eat something very good that I had never eaten before and that I would like it.

So, we caught a ride with someone I later found out was going to the same place (I was pretty young), a farm. We all sat around this huge table and I notice there are a few of my uncles from my father's side. Pretty cool, except for the fact I was all alone with a couple of people I didn't know. No biggie, as long as I could see my dad and uncles I was good, so I start eating.

We wasn't wrong, I never had that and I liked what I was eating. Well, I didn't know what it was so I asked one of the old men near me. He told me it was Mioleira. Now, in Portuguese that has two meanings. Either something made out of bread crumbs or your brain. I was pretty sure it wasn't brain so I assumed it was bread prepared in some way. I actually had seconds. Then someone asks me what I thought about it. I said I was loving it but it needed some meat instead of it just being bread and salad.

The whole room starts laughing. Someone pointed out I was already eating meat and after realizing I wasn't getting it they explained it to me. Sure, there was bread in there but they had just slaughtered some pigs and had used their brains in a delicious dish.

Now... part of me wanted to throw up. The part of me that wanted to save face joined forces with the part that actually enjoyed it and asked for a refill.

I haven't lived that one down yet.

Last time that one as recalled was when one of my uncles (he was at that lunch too) brought some of his chilli peppers to a family Christmas dinner. Now, they looked different than I'm used to, small and rounded so I didn't recognize them. When I asked my dad what it was he told me to have some... which I did.

Now, some of you may know that usually, not always tough, the smaller the pepper the bigger the zing... and this one was one of the smallest. I spent the whole dinner without sense of taste and red as a tomato. My uncle had to ask me if if wanted another serving before I knew what it was and if I would had a third dose after that like the last time.

PS: found a pic of a cousin of my dad's old bike. Yep, it's pretty small. All we could afford in terms of vehicles back then but it was all we really needed.

If you could have one super power, what would it be?

What one super power do you love but would hate to have?

What would you describe as your finest moment on this forum?

What upcoming movies are you looking forward to?

Coke or Pepsi?

Aside from V, who is your favorite character?

Re: The Well - Part XXV: LSP unleashes the fury (and the furries) by poisoning the We

Nicolette Larson or Bonnie Tyler?
