Re: The Well Part XXXII ~ Jumping the shark

What is that picture?

Sorry, forgot to elaborate that one :)

It is a pic basically taken in my backyard, the town where I live has the largest army base in Belgium, and it's part of the practice terrains... normally it 's off limits to civilians, but on sundays (and other days for me :D) it's open for the public.... I really enjoy "hiking" there... so for me it's an awsome place to visit :)

So who you routing out for the EURO CUP?

I 'm not really a sportfan, but I'm rooting for the Dutch... they really derserve to win this EC, simply because they have the best team:)

Re: The Well Part XXXII ~ Jumping the shark

I knew a Euro bro might breathe some life into the well again and who's more fitting than the Shark himself!

We owned a Belgian Sheepdog, great animal. She is missed.

What about waffles man! Forget the French Fries and gimme a couple of those! :D

Thx again for lettting me host this well, it's really fun ;)

How could I forget the waffles! yeah the waffles rule too, along with some good coffee :32:

Re: The Well Part XXXII ~ Jumping the shark

What's ypor favorit chocolate? (Belgium has great chocolates)
In which part of Belgium are you living?

My favorite chocolate would be côte d'Or, they have those little red chocolates... good stuff

I live in Limburg (North East part of Belgium)... it's pretty close to the German border (100km or so)

Re: The Well Part XXXII ~ Jumping the shark

Considering you have arguably the best, or at least some of the best, beers and also an incredibly respectable chocolate industry....

What are some of your favorite exports from other countries you get in Belgium?

Guiness comes to mind, I also like Corona (but only if I 'm eating mexican food :D), 1664 (Kronenbourg) is nice too... I 'm sure I'm forgetting some good beers, but those come to mind for the moment

Edit: I m' not fully awake yet, so I thought you meant beer import :D

Other good imports: guitars (USA) :D, Mussels (Netherlands), cars (Germany)...

Is there any truth to the rumor that Belgians are a typically dour lot?

Favorite Belgian beer?

Favorite Belgian bands (any genre')?

Your favorite moment(s) on "The A Team"?

euh, sorry for asking, but what 's a dour lot?

My favorite belgian beer is Jupiler

Favorite belgian bands: Hooverphonic (difficult to put a genre on it, I call it chill-music :)); In-quest (Death metal); the radios (rock)

My favorite "A team moment" would be every episode when they are carrying out their "plan" (when they 're building cool stuff like a bulldozer with a machinegun on it...)

Oh OK, what I meant was are Belgian's typically an over-serious people (according to rumor) or is that a useless myth?

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/dour

I'll have to try some Jupiler if it can be found here in the States. I LOVE Belgian beers (half a glass to knock you on your ass, they are potent :D )

Are you familiar with bands like Present or Univers Zero which I think are local to you.

Some of my favorite A-Team moments involved trying to get Barracas to fly, quite the ordeal! :laugh2::D:laugh2::lmao:

I didn't know we had that reputation :) ... I think it's just a myth then...

Yeah, I 've noticed that jupiler is hard to find outside Belgium... it's not really a very "heavy" beer (5,2 pro mille), we mostly drink it when we go out here (kinda like you drink bud or something :))

Haven't heard of these bands either, I really should discover more of the local bands :D

The parts where they 'd try to get BA on a plane are also memorable :D... especially those where murdoc was involved

If you were able to incarnate in some of the currently alive or already death guitar players, what body would you choose? why?

I mean, probably there are a lot of guitar players that for you are all 'the best ones' but, sometimes, their life and circumstances aren't.

Normally I 'd say slash (hope Pierre isn't reading this :D), but considering all the abuse he did to his body....

I think I like to be Micheal Amott from arch enemy... he has a great band going on, has great technique but he knows when not to shred... I find his solo's a perfect combination between shredding and melody... So I think it would be cool to be him :)
