The bridge humbucker would actually sound better with a 500k volume pot, but I can't get above 300k or the single coils tend to sound too bright and raw. Its still one of the best guitars I have though. I can't get those first 2 tones with any of my other guitars.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but there is a way to wire your Strat so that the singles see about 250K and the bridge 500K.

^^ Yes. 500k resistors in parallel on the switch where the single coil hot wires are.

If I remember aright, someone on here posted about having done it on their custom HH superstrat for the split positions.
