Both neck and bridge and middle position. I started with the neck, switch to middle and finished with the bridge. I generally do a lot of pickup switching while I play.

I really liked that. How are you recording? Line in of some sort, or are you mic'ing an amp? What's your gear?

EDIT: N/M.. I went to your music page. How are those Engl amps treating you? Those things are great IMO... great recordings too, all throughout your music page. Love your tone. Especially on the Dancy Wha song and Venza Latin.

Well, I've used various techniques in the past 1) Dgstomp direct into pc-card 2) Engl Speaker Sim direct into pc-card 3) sm57 into pc card.

Dancy wha was a Dgstomp direct into a pc-card. But it had a 70s Fasel Inductor Vox Wha Wha in front of it! (same model Hendrix used)

Venza Latin was a the Engl balanced output (speaker sim) into the pc-card.

This Seth lover clip was a sm57 (great mike) into a pc-card. Bedroom level volume.

It sure looks great.
I have tried a few of those, they where very very good guitars, they actually made the crappy 70's Gibsons cringe with shame in the store I worked in.

Which company makes that sm57? Is it Shure? I'd like to know because everywhere I hear good recordings from people recording at home, so I'd like to try it out.
