Yeah, it's all about feel... Some people with smaller frets don't play a lot of tapping crazy solo stuff, but I've played Eruption on my strat just fine. It's just that some people think bigger frets make it easier to play.. Imp said:very true now i think about it... you get almost a vibrato effect by pushing straight down at varying degrees of pressure.. sure, could you say tall, wide frets have the rudiments of neck scalloping? like, you don't touch the actual fingerboard when fretting quickly...
