¿ Thin Line Body Dread ? - I'm Looking For one

:14:
I've got my eyes on a Godin ACS nylon due the synth access it has and I have a Roland GR33 already
I use with my electric/midi/acoustic electric Godin LGXSA . I'd consider a steel too .
I played a thin line Yamaha acoustic electric that had/has won me over to liking them because it/they
sound that good . I had repaired a detached piezo wire from the pick up itself and had it a few weeks
while the owner [ Chan Romero ] out of town .
:headbang:
Beefy fat clear bass was a total surprize , mid & high HZ were sweet & warm and overall the HZ's were balanced
evenly across the sound spectrum . Great action too . Mahogany body/side and a solid top of spruce . Lime green
body , natural wood finish on top .
:)
Sitting in with Dick Dale I was amazed at a Fender thinline body cutaway dread acoustic electric he was playing .
Mahogany body/side - not sure of the top , but it wailed bigtime good . Tobacco burst - nice .
:smokin:
I'm for light weight stuff , so anyone have anything to contribute on a thinline dread cutaway ? Both Dick Dale & Chan Romero
guitars sounded super . I didn't get to play Dick's guitar though , because it was before my guitar playing miracle happened just
about the time I met up with Chan in [ 1998 ] .
:beerchug:
I've two Washburn dreads , one a single cutaway both are great players , the cutaway is a rosewood the other
one is mahogany . Both are one piece spruce topped , I'm partial to one piece tops .
:D
Nylon is easy peasy - steel I love even though they are a tad more effort prone to play .
:drill:
Talk to me peoples . Hope Santa was good to you all and no one got a lump of coal heh heh heh .

I had a Yamaha APX series
It was thinline

The sound projection acoustically was about the same as my Martin 000 and my Hummingbird
But then larger string gauge would probably make it super loud

My Hummingbird came with 12s and was deafening
I put the extra lights on it to improve the playability for me

I use 12's on my dead. I love the beefy low end I get and dominant HZ too .
