Well I normally spill alittle news before the company goes to Frankfurt....
Why should I bail out this season?
Anyways one of my own little projects, a small box AC-Tone that can be powered by a 9v adaptor, anyways as some of you might know...or don't...the boss and I do not share soundpreferences...sometimes it causes some friction and all that....but that is how life is!!!
I get annoyed by him, but we still keep a civil and friendly tone to it....and somedays we get a good laugh over it...as it is silly! :friday:
Well must be a sign of some sort of passion I guess??
Back to the subject!!!
I changed the chip back to an old CM workhorse, and changed the clippers too....and I had my way with the amount of dirt it can deliver as well....and it can go from crispy open slight break up to saturated stuff....
So I changed this thing into something I like myself...may not everybodys cup of tea, but should be fun for most!?!
To be honest...I did not really have any amps or specific tones in mind, I just wanted a certain amount of British flavour to the sound....I like Hiwatts, old Voxes, Carlsbros, Selmers, and such.....
And I love Brian Mays tones
There is alittle hint of that here and there...
And it got down to be a simple dumb, easy to use, no thinking is taking place, on/off and you go pedal....three knobs and a switch!
>We spend a great deal of time getting the internal powersupply right....as this kind can get you into trouble if you are not careful<
So it does 9v in, and delivers about +-12v on the inside.
I did a few clips today...it is raining and the weather is dull.....
On this one I used my Beck strat...

On this one I used the Ibanez S540R....and set the amp on its fat setting on the clean(more like a tweed amp).
And used a backer.

Got a picture of it too.....not the colour that will be used, this is a prototype...not the final product, only the sound and size of the pedal is right
It is that brown ugly thing
