This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

JOLLY

Super Simonologist
The guy kind of reminds me of myself. He has an Explorer like me, but unfortunately he plays waaaaaay too much in the neck position. However, I think this is a pretty good representation of the amp.

I just so happen to play with it on the bridge pickup on my guitars. I also happen to run a TC Electronics Major thingie with my amp as well.

Anyways, I think this guy gives a somewhat good representation of one of the baddest ass amps ever!!!

Too bad he doesn't crank his amp like I crank mine!!;):)

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

I'm sorry but no one ever wants to hear the cleans sounds of amps when they are looking for reviews. Play three cleans chords and get to the meat *****.

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

What do you mean he used to neck pickup way too much? He was on the bridge pickup at least half the time...

2 pickups...50% on each one, seems like a pretty even distribution to me

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

I agree that he plays way to much on the neck pup
also I don't get and never have understood strumming chords on a clean channel
I get nothing from that
it's not an acoustic guitar
I mean who plays a clean channel of an amp and strums chords
lol
sorry I being a bit of an ass lol
play some blues on the clean

Nice sounding marshall though

The thing with Marshall is that their newer stuff besides not sounding good breaks down easy

how's this amp Jolly? Is it built more tough?

I never ONCE worried or had anything happen to my VHT

Cheers

I've never had any problems with mine, but then again, I don't tote it around all over the place either.

Because we never here bluesy noodling in amp reviews.

I for one play clean chords all the time through the clean channel.

I like hearing the clean sound of an amp, I really hate it when metal dudes review an amp and have to rely on a chorus pedal every time they "have" to play clean, must be something about having a small penis.

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

Why does everybody hate neck pickups all of a sudden?

My biggest beef with most reviews on youtube is that they use exclusively the bridge pickup...but I guess that's what people like

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

umm so i mean

THIS IS ****ING STUPID HE'S NOT EVEN USING A DIGITECH DEATH METAL STOMPBOX THIS FAGGOT IS NOT TRVE KVLT GRIMM IT'S NOT AN ACOUSTIC STOP USING THE CLEAN CHANNEL

those marshalls sound real good tho

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

Love the OD1 Channel. That OD2 Channel sounds like Megadeth's "Endgame". Awesome amp!

Re: This Is Actually A Pretty Damn Good Review of A MArshall JVM410H

Hi Guys,
This is my very first post on this forum...so keep that in mind. I played long, long ago, back in the 70's/80's, then because of misfortune and problems with hands, didn't play for nearly 20 years. Here I am nearly 50 and finding that I can play once again...(modern medicine ROCKS!) I am looking at Marshalls really hard...JVM 410h, DSL100, and A floor model Vintage Modern 2266h/greenback cab halfstack. Can you tell me how the JVM stacks up against the Vin Modern? Which would be better for reliability, tone, etc.? A little out of sorts on all that's changed since my "days".

John

Welcome to the forum John!!:)

Your best bet would be to start a completely new thread about what you're wanting to know between all of those models. You'll get more responses that way.
