It looks absolutely winner in the pic with all lighting and pro level photoshoot,but in reality the plain chrome hardware might turn some people off.
Except if those are really black nickel hardware though..

I don't know about that, those Joe Perry Boneyard models have a really funky color to them. Like they had black streaks or something in them.

Yeah, I love that finish. For some reason on non bursts, I feel like it would look more complete with the pick guard.

It's got a tiny bit of a burst to it, but not much. A pickguard would totally ruin a guitar that lovely.

Also look at the neck pickup.
I think the bridge humbucker ring is in the wrong position, that's why the pickguard doesn't reach it.
