This Is One Of The Best Looking Les Pauls That I've Ever Seen

Re: This Is One Of The Best Looking Les Pauls That I've Ever Seen

What really makes the color is the top. Most Gibsons don't have enough depth to figure for my tastes. now that has an awesome top which just brings credit to the fact that it is an sweet color. love it!!!

That really is a KILLER color!!!

They really ruined that gutar that Metlking posted by putting a pickguard on it.

I agree. At least, if they're going to have a guard, it should not be white. Too stark. Black would be better, IMO.

The grain is a bit confusing...looks like somewhere between quilt and flame.

Oh no!!!

Keep the tobacco burst!
I don't know man. It has such an awesome flame to it and alot of it is being covered up by the black. It just kind of seems like a waste of good flameage.

Thumbs up on that flame, AND that funky quilt/flame. Les Pauls are luxury items, if I were to own one, it would have to be a unique, complex maple top. The more figured the better, why would I want an LP with a shallow, barely noticeable figure that doesn't say much?

as a side note...two thumbs down for carved mahogany models.

I am with you 100% on that.

I'd certainly love to own a carved mahogany LP if I got a ridiculous deal on one, but I would never seek one out like I would a heavily figured maple top, preferrably a nice 3d quilt. It just seems wrong, like buying a really heavy single cut SG.
