Obviously not the same guitar but similiar to the Godin Montreal Premiere. The Godin's list for a couple hundred bucks more but they can be had for less. Mine was right around 1K, new (SF/"blem").
Give us the same basic price point, but make it an ES-135 with true P90's, and I would already have one, and already would have prepped it for an Arctic White Re-Ranch overpaint.
I have *****ed and moaned about the quality of Gibson for years. Their incomplete fret work and nut work were particular points of aggravation for me. But I went into Guitar Center yesterday to kill some time, for the first time in about a year. I have to say that the work in these areas looked notably better, over all, and prices seem to have notched down a bit. Heading in the right direction, I must say. Let's hope the train keeps heading that way.
