This amp is a fabulous slice of underground LA hard rock in the 70s and early 80s. Very much a juiced Marshall vibe, this one sounds killer!! Better than my other ETA. Will get a clip up soon.

I know I mentioned it before, but my first real tube amp was an ETA80 that I picked up at a pawnshop 5 miles from where they were made - Gardena Ca. I think. I think I paid $260 for it.
Those were basically boutique Marshalls, before anyone even used the term "boutique."
Mine had 2 6550's, and when one of them blew, I replaced it with some crappy tube from Radio Shack. This was before I knew better, and also had no money. I ended up selling it.
I wish I'd kept it, and put all Tungsol in it.

What model is this? I believe Slash played the LTA. I've looked at them here on Craigslist. Bob Rissi is local and still producing a limited quantity of amps. I've never heard one in person, but the reputation from the '80s says it should be awesome. Let us know what you think. This definitely looks more Marshally than the LTA.
