thorn guitars?

Re: thorn guitars?

A "me too" product is just another guitar to add to the pile; nothing new or innovative going on, just a look alike copy for cheap.

Re: thorn guitars?

Ron's a great guy who builds a damn fine guitar. There's a Thorn Forum and a lot of happy owners on the Birds & Moons forum as well as on The Gear Page.

Personally, I can't get past the symmetrical double cutaway thing but they're the real deal as far as materials, craftsmanship, and playability go.

I tend to agree with you, but innovating in the guitar seems risky. Steinberger and Parker are the only two companies I'm aware of that made significant innovations and they haven't faired that well. :smack:

Very true, but if you're not going to break down any new barriers, at least go to the hilt with what you are doing; ie, Wayne, Tom Anderson, Suhr, etc.

You responded to a near 20-year old thread.

It’s what happens when you do a search on a specific subject. What difference does it make anyway? Are you familiar with Ron’s guitars? I’m guessing Fender hasn’t approached you to become their Principle Master Builder.

But as the admin here, in these cases, just make another thread.
