Thoughts About A Dimarzio Area-T In A Strat?

I can't believe that, i was thinking to put Aret-T in my Strat's bridge too. But i am not sure about the sound that i will get. I don't want it to get too treblish. Because i hate that kind of tin like sounds.

In fact i prefer Duncan J Donahue, but my strat is deluxe fender so i don't know how i can make the wiring of true single coil in the bridge position and i decided to install a stack pickup.

Any comment ?

The Area Ts are the best rock/blues Tele pups I have ever heard/used. They are quieter than most full-sized HBs. The pups are super dependent upon pickup height. They don't have the ice pick of many Tele pups, so Country isn't their forte, IMO. The middle position is not as sweet as I have heard with other pups.

An Area T in the bridge of a Strat, especially an ash Strat would rock.

I was thinking about putting it in the neck, middle & bridge of a strat or pairing it up in the neck with some other lipstick tubes in the bridge and middle. I want to avoid the ice pick highs.

I don't get ice pick highs with 250k volume and tone pots. Wire the bridge to the bottom tone pot and leave the middle pup without a tone. I'd think a DMZ Area 67 between the Area Ts would be an interesting experiment, at least that is what I would opt for. But two Area T necks or lipsticks in the neck and middle with the Area T bridge in the, well, bridge would make quite a versatile guitar.
