I can't believe it weighs only 3.7 pounds! Any thoughts on this speaker? I want to save up for a year or so and put them in my Orange 212PPC cab and hope to buy a nice 112 combo and put it in that as well, really excited about the SD recommendation of the Laney Cub 12 at 26pounds.

It would decrease the weight of my Orange 212PPC cab from 62 pounds of bulkiness to a more manageable 47 pounds of weight.

at $165 a pop, I am serious about avoiding ever seeing a chiropractor, with a little luck ;) maybe it will be a tone improvement, but a little tone setback is ok maybe, because they are so lightweight

My fav Neodymium magnet speakers so far are the Eminence.

I know that doesn't answer your question but if I were going to buy a neo speaker it'd be an Emi...

Once I learn something, I am always amazed how l know! I had no idea they make these lightweight speakers; I need to look into Eminence, thank you for the recommendation :beerchug:

Do you have access to a large wheeled trolley.....I mean that will help much more than a slight reduction in speaker weight......especially if said weight reduction is also bad for tone as you see it.

Access to a 6-pack and some mates may also help with transport.

Thank you for the constructive comment, I know this to be true :friday:

ya that stuff is the biggest thing, I dig my rockNroller trolley/cart and a lil help from my friends fo' sho'. I think just lifting the 62 pounder because of it's bulkiness, week after week, would do some damage, and 47 pounds seems more manageable.

I do light weightlifting with 20 pound weights, do bench press and military press, and do stretches for my back per book http://www.amazon.com/Minutes-Pain-Free-Life-Groundbreaking-Prevention/dp/0743476476

...never can be too careful though as I have witnessed, one slip and its a big catastrophe, even with 47 pounds, but at least the risk is lessened a bit :)
