Been awhile since I've posted any clips or anything here...

And I know that I'm not the only one digging the vintage
Bluesbreaker & Les Paul tone combination. So here's a little
noodling around for those who'd like to hear those tones!

The Bluesbreaker is fitted with yellow jackets and JJ EL84 so it's only ~18watts now. In other words it's not nailing the Clapton Beano KT66 tones. But I still think it does some vintagevibey tones quite well.

The preamp tubes and the rectifier tube need a change though and unfortunately I think you can hear it. As the tone is not perfect as it is now

Thursday Burst is plugged straight in on the lower volume treble input. Volume is kept between 8-10 all the time. Treble, mid and bass varies a lil. Some rollin off on the guitar volume in places.

You get some Whole Lotta Love, some Blues noodling, some chord work, some Van Halen stuff (suprise ;) ) and last some Cream riffin'.

Hope you enjoy the sample! and feel free to comment if you like ;)

Yeah, I know the timing isn't good GoldenV. It was just a quick noodling tone test so I didn't pay attention to that. No excuse though, I should work on my timing. It should be printed in so that you wouldn't play sloppy... even on noodlings and tone tests ;)

Thanks Rid! I really like the tone myself, funny though I have a hard time to get tones this vintage sounding to fit into my recordings and songs. I write too modern songs for that I guess ;) More practise on that as well... hehe! And I have to admit, looking forward to a tube change on the Bluesbreaker, but new TAD tubes all round is about 100€ so it feels a little on the steep end right now. Have to save some dough first :P
