A while back, I saw a XXX head for sale in my local Sam Ash for small money. Alas, at the time I did not have it.
It really must have been the tubes or the cabinet that you didn't like.

Yea I'm thinking it was the tubes. I played in through a cab loaded with Vintage 30's. I cant think of a time I didnt like the sound of those speakers. Oh well. I almost bought another 3120, But I couldnt get the 5150 III 50 watt outta my head lol
