I am looking for a new amp (or used if someone is selling) that I can get a lot of thrash metal/high gain(evh)/and old school (acdc and zeppelin) and maybe a decent clean channel.
I would like to keep it under 500, but if the amp is worth it I could go higher.
I use a les paul and a strat. both with higher than average output pups.
please no modeling amps!
Tubes are preferred, but i would not pass up a great amp because it has a transistor in it. :smack:
loud is ok, but I rarely gig and have no need for a full stack or something. though a reasonable half stack would work.
If you have any ideas, shout them out.
