To Rid. Skrydstrup Overdrive 50

Just wondered, have you ever tried out this amp? A store close by says they are about to get one, and that it is the best amp they ever heard. It will cost about kr. 27.000.- in Norway. I have read a few reviews about it, but if you have any first hand experience, it would be fun to hear your opinion.

Actually I have never tried it.
But a few of the Jazzers here likes it for the Robben Ford sound they can get out of it.
It is rumoured to be a smooth and fat one.

Bingo. I researched these things a few months ago. It's not the perfect Dumble clone, but it is said to have a very good response and feel of the ODS amps they are modeled after.

Yes, there are plenty on the net if you look around.

Do you want an amp that is responsive, fat, smooth and with plenty of sustain? If you like Robben Ford, you'll dig the amp. It's not a Marshall, Mesa, Bogner etc. Those are completely different animals. Don't expect to get blackface cleans out of it either. It's thick, it's warm and it was made for a singing, medium or light gain overdrive.
