Are the 2 cream bobbins different?

I've have a seth i custom ordered w/ double creams under the hood. Had it for prolly 1 1/2 to 2yrs now. Still haven't used it yet.:smack:
1 bobbin is noticably more yellow than the other. The other is more like a creme bobbin u'd get from dimarzio.

kinda weird? Not bad, i guess, just weird. Anyone else have similar findings? Spill!

honestly, i never looked at it close enough. Which is funny, cuz it is quite obvious that they are 2 different shades of cream. I just noticed 10 minutes ago.

Obviously, the only way for S.D. to right this is to make & send me a custom zebra S.L. with one seafoam green bobbin (R&D boys, r u listening?) & one creme bobbin.

This new custom p-up should be titled the "foamybucker".

I've got old SD double creams from the 80's, mine are the same color cream as Dimarzio, except the Duncans are glossy.
The Seth and Antiquities use a different material (Butyrate?) for the bobbins that looks "flatter" to me, so it's possible that you got one of those cream butyrate bobbins and one regular production cream bobbin.
