Kinda cool! Cheap...
Well built, with surface mount components though so no mods
The pedal sounds quite ok... less aggressive and mean than my old Crunchbox... closer to the Plexitone, but with a slightly different voicing. There are only level and gain controls but the pedal is well EQed.
It's not harmonically rich though...Sounds a little bland. But eh in the UK 60 pounds gets you a boss BD2. So it's not bad for the price. Looks cool and cute too!
Also it's not very bright... not totally muffled or dull, just could do with a treble control maybe?
It sounds great boosted by my Bad Monkey too, and in conjonction with my amp's drive channel.
So eh... it's a good enough pedal for the price, looks nice, doesn't take much room on your board... if you want more board versatility or a backup, smaller board it's a cool option to say, a modded DS1 or a Jackhammer/Guvnor if you want a Marshall sound
A little more expensive, but cooler.
A Guvnor or Jackhammer has more options, but to me this pedal is funner. Really plug and play.
I'd also preffer it as buffered but eh...
