There are 2 SM57's and something that resembles a SM58. Using different mics can bring out different colors in the front of house. Using mulitple 57's you have to remember that they have a narrow amount of sound to pick up. You may use one and place it right by the cone, and the other place it twards the middle of the basket. That way the FOH guy can have different sounds from one cabinet and doesn't have to find 'the sweet spot' like you do when recording.

Morello would sell out his own people!! Can't stand the dude or Serj. They need to get off their soapboxes I don't like their OPINIONS. Im not gonna dispute on their talent though Morello and the latter have plenty of it. Im just sick of Musicians Ramming their beliefs down young peoples throats.
OH by the way.....I don't truly "believe" in the war in Iraq. Im not gonna use the word "support" Just makes me furious.

That's Tom's inspiration ( Ernesto "Che" Guevarra ). You Can't get the "Rage" tone without that.

looks like i won't be listening to any more rage....communist dirt bags. Y'all know im cuban and hate people who ruined my family's country with communism, it's just funny how people idolize such evil characters and like showing it off when they haven't experienced any of it first hand. My mother was put to force labor on tobacco fields 7 months a year for four years in Cuba thanks to people like el "Che"....

I've always wondered why anyone would idolize Che, all things considered. I realize he was a young go-getter who was passionate about his cause, but it seems like the big issue is always overlooked (or not even considered at all due to ignorance).

Audioslave is not RATM. They have their own sound. It still sounds like RATM because it's stil Morello, Commerford and Wilk playing but with totally a different tone and "vibe" than RATM. So, i wouldn't call Audiosalve "not as good". They are a great band in my opinion. People have mixed emotions and opinions about Audioslave because they miss RATM and expects the same sound and "attitude" that people are so used to listening to RATM. Cornell is one of the GREATEST Rock vocalist this world had ever heard. Period. Tom doesn't have the Flag anymore because it's not RATM anymore. And having all this "Political" stuff with Audioslave will be totally erelevant to the concept of the new band.
