I traded my Barber DirectDrive a few days ago for a J Everman FuzzDrive unit. The DirectDrive was a good one, but kinda "one-trick pony" you know, too much compression in there.
I received the J Everman FuzzDrive last week, plugged it at the gig yesterday and..... WooooHooooo!! So powerful and clear! THe website says :

No need to add more, this is the EXACT description of what it does. Moreover I didnt even turned it off at all! Always ON, very responsive to guitar volume, believe or not, the cleans were much more "alive" .... I loooooove it. Definitely a keeper.
