tone of different guage strings?

I've found my 11s to fit me nicely. Ernie Balls. (as opposed to Ernie's balls )

same thing with me. i started with 9's, then up to 10's, then to 11's, where i am now. they are all around perfect for me. good beefy tone, sustain, loud, awesome!

Thanks all. I bought some 11-52s the other day, haven't tried them out yet as while the strings are off I took the oppurtunity to re-oil my guitar & fingerboard, so my guitar is hanging up waiting to be polished.

They're Dean Markley's, the G comes wityh a choice of wound or unwound. Never tried wound before, should be interesting!

I've gone from regulars that must be over a year old to brand new mediums, so there's a lot of changes at once, but I'll try once they start sounding more normal (I don't like the sound of brand new strings)

I've actually got to change my strings, their pretty old. I've got a new pack in my room.

My I bitch about d'addarios for a moment? Those damn things broke on me every time I tried to put them on my guitar. I hate those things. They always freakin' break on me.

my tone lies with 10-60 in standard and 13-80 in standard.
