That is really sharp looking, Evan. You guys did a nice job on this one. Kudos to everyone involved with it. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

For those who have tried it? How does it sound slamming the front end of a Marshall? Not that mine needs any help but I do it anyway with a OD pedal right now.

as far as the looks goes, i love the knobs the most. next would be those "grills" on the side. just gorgeous

Much better looking than the beta, but that was to be expected. And, yes, I just bought a FD2 10yr Anny pedal as well!

Woah! Now THAT is one nice pedal! I tried out the other Seymour Duncan pedals and they were great, and from what I've read about this one, it will be one really nice sounding pedal.

You know what I like about the look of that new Duncan pedal?

It's got sort of a cool early 80's look to it, with it's logo, tan colors, lines, etc.
The only thing that deviates from that 1981 vibe is the chickenhead knobs.
Still, it looks better that way, than to have round dark brown knobs with a silver top like it woulda had if it came out in the early 80's.

Sorry, if the 80's retro look wasn't what you'd envisioned, but it makes it cooler, nonetheless.

I agree it's very classy looking .. just as the name would suggest.

I think the darker lettering should contrast more - either lighter or darker - darker would be better to differentiate from the lighter channel lettering.

Just my opinion ... I'll still be first in line.

DC? C'mon, this isn't one of those "tube" pedals that run in starved plate mode, where the tube is nothing more than a glorified clipping diode. This is a real tube preamp with high plate voltage. You ain't gonna get that from DC, mi amigo (at leat not without some major modifications). You need AC power for that. And this pup runs on 16-v AC.

Because we figured you-all would be able to tell the difference.

Evan you guys have done and AWESOME job. I try to keep a KISS setup so as not to confuse my small brain I could easily see this pedal taking the place of my pup booster, and I can definitely get my Boss Super Overdrive out of the way now.

I'm very curious how it would sound with my Dr. Z.....

It will replace more than 1 pedal for some of you guys for sure...I did a gig or 2 with the prototype I had and was quite happy with the results!
