too good to be true? SCAM

Re: too good to be true? SCAM

Not really... the guitars are forgeries, but you do receive the instrument pictured. On the other hand, do you guys want the chinese to stop making forgeries and get their IP laws up to snuff? Then quit buying Chinese made products until they do ;)

Like I´ve said before on this forum, a buddy of mine paid, and recieved a guitar 2 weeks later, FROM THIS SELLER.

The seller accepts paypal, which is not exactly typical of scammers. He merely offers the wire transfer as an alternate form of payment for those that don´t have paypal. Outside of the US wire transfers are really very common and actually offer similar protection to a Credit card in many cases. OTOH practically nobody uses personal checks over here... Maybe the US should "get with the program" and people won´t scream SCAM as soon as they read the words "bank account" anymore ;)

Either way, the seller is legit, the item isn´t. The feedback and track record speak more than the speculations of an Internet forum without hands on experience ;)

*Edit* Feedback for that transaction is even still up, "Italianocap" is the buyer.... http://cgi1.ebay.de/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemWithCategory&item=7381256852
