I put a PG set in my 96 LP Standard recently and they are great pups for blues and classic rock.
I prefer the PGn over the 59n because it has less bass. I also prefer it over the APH-1n, as it is more open sounding with a clearer top end.
The PGb just seems perfectly balanced - like OlinMusic says: "It's clear and articulate, while being thick and nice and tight in the bass for a vintage style (and A2 pup), shocking!"
They are keepers!
