The advantage of a stack over a combo is you can swap heads with the cab or vice versa. You can also carry them separately which is a blessing for backs like mine.

10 watts will be very loud in that environment though.

That's a good point about being able to carry them sepperately. Yeah, i think i'll just stick to 1x12. I see pictures of people's half stacks an i'm always jealous. In my current living situation, and current lack of performance opportunities, though, it just doesn't seem like i can make it work, even with a relatively moddest head wattage.
