I've got a the 50w Speed-Twin combo - definitely British. I don't know anything about the Tramp Amp, but mine seems well enough made and has some good features on it. Sounds good too. Give it a try if you can.

The Super Tramp has been said to be one of the best solid state amps. I've yet to see one in person and am way too hesitant to purchase one sight unseen. If you have one close by, give it a try and report back.
