Re: Trading/buying/selling guitars... how often do you switch it up?
I'll be honest here. I have what is known as a addictive personality what with me being a recovered alcoholic and addict. Since I quit poisoning my body and got clean and sober over 12 years ago , the guitar has become my addiction . Which has been both a good and at times, at least according to my wife, a bad thing. In the past 2 years I have traded I would say , 2-3 guitars which were a ESP LTD M-15 , a Ibanez ART-300, and a P.O.S. Kramer which my wife bought for me. Now I have in my collection , 1 modified , Squier Affinity Butterscotch Telecaster , 2 Squier Modded Standard Strats, Epiphone 2004 MIK Gothic Les Paul Studio , and just recently I got back my old 2006 MIM Fender Standard Strat. I'm done with trading and have no intention of selling or swapping anymore. I'm going to be 54 at the end of the month and not only is my wife getting tired of me doing this, but I'm just getting too old to be playing gear dealer and would now like to start enjoying what I have .
